Colours

Here are some colours in Swedish:

Green - Grön, Grönt, Gröna
Red - Röd, Rött, Röda
Yellow - Gul, Gult, Gula
Blue - Blå, Blått, Blå
Purple - Lila, Lila, Lila
Orange - Orange, Orange, Orange
Brown - Brun, Brunt, Bruna
Black - Svart, Svart, Svarta
White - Vit, Vitt, Vita

As you may notice, some of them are said differently sometimes. Here's why:
All things ending with -en or just -n, i.e. "skon, kjolen, mattan, buren" (the shoe, the skirt, the rug, the cage) should use the first word.
"En grön sko - A green shoe"

Then, all things ending with -et, i.e. "huset, bordet, papperet, fodralet" (the house, the table, the paper, the case) should use the second one.
"Ett blått hus - A blue house"

All colours that has a single word, like Lila and Svart can be used just like they are.
Ett svart får - A black sheep
En lila matta - A purple rug

In plural, most colours end with -a.
